How EMSA communicates discipline decisions to team officials.
Team officials will receive an automated notification from the EMSA Soccer Portal, with the subject line DISCIPLINE ACTION, indicating the following:
Player/Team Official name
Infraction and duration of suspension
Date of infraction
Return to play date
Discipline procedure
Suspension violations
Appeal procedure
If you disagree with the discipline you must go through the appeal procedure (found in our EMSA Rules & Regulations). The appeal must be received in writing by the office within 48 hours (business days) of the notification being sent via email. The appeal letter must be accompanied by $100 cash or cheque. EMSA will notify you of the date and time of your appeal hearing.
ESAF (Edmonton Soccer Association Facilities) deals with ALL incidents that occur off the field (hallways, lobby, stands, etc.) – there are attendants/security at the field that can help a situation and can write an incident report or administer facility bans. Please contact them directly if you have any complaints off of the field.
